Dr. Fannie L. Brown formally served as Executive Director of Coming Together Akron, and Coming Together USA, a local and national effort created to provide diversity related programming for citizens of Summit County, Ohio. Dr. Brown received a BA in Business Management (June, 1990) from Malone, College – Canton, Ohio; MS in Technical Education (December, 1991) and Ph.D. in Secondary Education Curriculum and Instruction (December, 1995) from the University of Akron.
She is currently president and CEO of Tutoring Nurtures Talent, Inc. In addition to duties related to her position, Dr. Brown serves on numerous Boards, Advisory Boards, Professional Organizations and Community Committees.
Her primary interest include: Diversity/Minority Affairs, Religious Issues, Issues related to Aging, Women’s Issues, Community Building and Economic Development.
Dr. Brown is married to William H. Brown and resides in Copley Township. She has two adult children.
